Genshin Impact has unveiled its latest Dendro character, Emilie. MiHoYo, the developer behind the popular game, introduced Emilie as the newest Dendro character. Originating from Fontaine, she is revered as an adept perfumer, famously dubbed "A Thousand Scents Traced". Her specialty lies in creating perfumes with vibrant and fresh scents, primarily aimed at influencing and adjusting emotions. It has been hinted, though not officially confirmed, that her perfumes may interact with the game's combustion mechanics.

The announcement was made via the social platform X, where Genshin Impact shared her concept. Until now, Emilie has not been visually depicted in official releases, leaving fans to only view artist renditions. Nevertheless, she was previously mentioned in the game's lore, during the Roses and Muskets event.

This unveiling precedes the launch of version 4.7, set to go live tomorrow. Additionally, Emilie is anticipated to make her in-game appearance in the forthcoming patch on July 17. Interestingly, she marks the first Dendro character to be introduced since Kiara over a year ago, making her debut in the Fontaine region a significant addition.
